On the afternoon of the 11th August, President Huang Tianwen met with the delegation led by Mr. Ian Clement, Deputy Mayor of London. The two sides also exchanged views on the cooperation between both parties.On behalf of Sinosteel, President Huang Tianwen warmly welcomed to the delegation led by Mr. Ian Clement. President Huang introduced Sinosteel’ s strategic orientation, five industries, external cooperation, and investment projects. He said presently, Sinosteel has kept friendly cooperation relationship with lots of countries, also has kept close cooperation in economic and commercial with parts of companies in UK, Sinosteel and CRU jointly held the global conference for twice, and also has kept friendly relationship with parts of financial and insurance organizations. He gave high appraisement on investment environment and financial service of UK; with the fast development of Chinese economic and steel industry, both sides have enjoyed extensive cooperating opportunities in steel industry and related areas; Sinosteel will exert its advantages, extend the cooperation development in UK and Europe, devote on multilateral economic prosperity.
Mr. Ian Clement expressed his sincere gratitude to the warmly reception by President Huang, he introduced the basic condition of London. He said British Government paid seriousness and graveness attitude on foreign economic and commercial cooperation, he hopes keep friendly cooperation relationship with Chinese enterprises. London Government will provide its support on the business development of Sinosteel in London.
Before the meeting, accompanied by Vice President Jiang Hong, Mr. Ian Clement and his group visited Sinosteel exhibition room.
