On the afternoon of the 18th August, Vice President Jiang Hong met with Mr. Charles Brent, Chief Representative North Asia, State Government of Victoria, Australia. Firstly, Vice President Jiang Hong warmly welcomed to the delegation led Mr. Brent and introduced Sinosteel’ s strategic orientation, five industries, foreign cooperation, operation development in recent years, also reviewed the investment and project operation in Australia. Mr. Brent expressed his sincere gratitude to the warmly reception by Sinosteel and introduced the condition of economic development and investment environment in Victoria. Subsequently, Mr. Brent delivered a letter to Vice President Jiang, which is written by Hon, John Brumby, Premier of Victoria for President Huang Tianwen, he also expressed his willing on the investment of Sinosteel in Australia. Vice President Jiang said there is good supplementary economic between Sino-Australia; with the predominant investment environment in Victoria, Sinosteel would like to further discuss on the cooperation with State Government of Victoria.
