On August the 8th, at the same day of the Olympics opening ceremony, Sinosteel city volunteers started their work on the service information of the Olympics. According to the whole arrangement of the service information by Haidian Olympic volunteer service center, Sinosteel’ s Olympic volunteer service station was set at the south square of Zhongguancun. Volunteers will provide help with broadcasting Olympics news, answer difficult questions, and language translation, among others, to the public, which achieved great success.This volunteer activity was enjoyed with high regard and support of leaders of corporation, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of corporation Zhang Zheng also went to the spot and consoled to the volunteers, then called for his ardent expectations on their service. The volunteers also expressed they will implement to the volunteer service order, hold their post, make their contribution to the success of Olympics.
Since August the 8th, there will be 54 Sinosteel’ s volunteers participated on the volunteer service.
