On the afternoon of April 9,, the delegation led by Liu Andong, the Party Secretary of Sinosteel Corporation and General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited went to Jilin city to meet relevant leaders including Zhao Jingbo, secretary of CPC Jilin committee, Li Tianlin, a standing committee member and secretary-general and Cui Zhenji, a vice mayor of Jilin City and to conduct practical discussion and exchange with them as for the enhancing both communication and deepening cooperation as well as the promotion of reform and development for Sinosteel’s subsidiaries and relevant projects operations etc in Jilin City. Wang Wenjun, the deputy general manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited and Yang Guang, the chairman of Sinosteel Jilin Carbon Co.,ltd attended the meeting.
General manager Liu Andong on behalf of Sinosteel Group expressed his gratitude to CPC Jilin Committee and Jilin municipal government for their long-term guidance, support and help for Sinosteel especially Sinosteel’s subsidiaries in Jilin City. Liu said that under the guidance of the SASAC, Sinosteel Group would actively promote the reform and adjustment, and currently, Sinosteel Jitan had basic condition to become a mixed ownership enterprise based on the reform. He hoped that parties could play all advantages to promote the sound development of Sinosteel Jitan. He also hoped the municipal government to provide more guidance and help because reform is a systematic project.
Deputy general manager Wang Wenjun exchanged ideas with Jilin municipal leadership on some specific aspects of the reform and development of Sinosteel Jitan, and hoped all parties to leverage their own advantages and do the related work well jointly, promoting the enterprise’s development forward.
Zhao Jingbo, the secretary of CPC Jilin Committee on behalf of Jilin Committee and municipal government expressed his welcome for the arrival of Mr. Liu and his delegation, showed his gratitude to Sinosteel Group for its long-term contribution to the development of Jilin City. He said that they would coordinate their efforts to fully support the promotion of the reform and development of Sinosteel’s subsidiaries in Jilin City, and to provide quality services, to create a good environment for the development of enterprises, achieving mutual benefit and common development.
