The director of 2nd Enterprise Cadre Bureau of SASAC, Song Yachen joined the conference and announced the decision made by Party Committee of SASAC that Xu Siwei was appointed as the general manager and deputy party secretary of Sinosteel Corporation, Liu Andong shall act as party secretary and deputy general manager of Sinosteel Corporation; Xu Siwei was nominated as chairman and party secretary of Sinosteel Corporation Limited, Liu Andong was nominated as a director, general manager and deputy party secretary of Sinosteel Corporation Limited and Jia Baojun shall take other position instead of leadership in Sinosteel Corporation and Sinosteel Corporation Limited.
This adjustment is a personnel rearrangement made by SASAC after careful study and comprehensive consideration according to the actual demand of current reform and development for Sinosteel, which fully reflects that SASAC pays high attention to the construction of Sinosteel’s leadership group, supports steadfastly the reform and development of Sinosteel and expects earnestly the next development of Sinosteel.
