On the afternoon of March 15, Sinosteel Corporation held the promotion meeting for internal control system construction, which was aimed at thoroughly implementing and carrying out the spirit of the Circular on Relevant Matters Regarding Speeding Up the Building of Internal Control System of Central Enterprises issued by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission SASAC under State Council , arranging and deploying the construction of internal control system of the group company, promoting comprehensively the construction and implementation of the internal control system of the group company and enhance practically the management an risk resistance capability of the group company. Company leaders including President Jia Baojun and Party Committee Secretary Xu Siwei attended the meeting and delivered keynote speeches.
Party Committee Secretary Xu Siwei put forward clear requirements to each unit for them to carry out the special work of this time by focusing on four aspects：firstly, raising the consciousness and understand profoundly the importance of internal control work; secondly, formulating effective ways for controlling operation risks and doing well the prevention work beforehand; thirdly, strengthening the risk management publicity and training work oriented towards all employees and raising the risk consciousness and responsibility sense of vast number of employees; fourthly, making clear that internal control was a process entailing continuous optimization and improvement and it was an endless task awaiting persistent improvement.
President Jia Baojun required in the speech that all units should firstly realize “in place” in three domains in fulfilling this time of special work, i.e. ideologically, the work shall be fulfilled in place by earnestly learning the documents relating to internal control system building issued by Ministry of Finance and SASAC; in action domain, the work should be fulfilled in place by making considerate deployment and taking quick action; in implementation domain, the work should be fulfilled in place by learning more skillfully, practicing boldly, accumulating experiences to make achievements quickly. Secondly, close combination with the practical conditions of current operation should be made well and we should get the work channeled into all activities of operation and management；thirdly, leaders of the company and relevant functional departments should strengthen the urge and inspection to this work, pay attention to summarization and extraction of good experiences and practices, promote the further improvement of the internal control system building level of the group and make contribution to the group company in realizing the objective of turning loss into gain.
