On the afternoon of July 5, president Huang Tianwen met the visiting 7 guests of Daewoo International led by managing director Mr. Tae-Sung Park and president & CEO, chief representative Mr. Keun-Tae Park in No.1 Conference Room.
President Huang introduced Sinosteel’s general situation, the three core business, the operating situation and marketing position of iron ore, chrome ore, manganese ore, steel products, coke, scrap and fluorite. Mr. Tae-Sung Park and Mr. Keun-Tae Park introduced the core business of Daewoo International in India and China respectively. Daewoo International is one of the largest international trading companies in POK mainly in international trade and overseas investment, with 30 years of history and good reputation in POK and the international market. Its business includes steel, metal, chemical industry, automobile, textile, cereals & oil, IT, etc.
Both parties consider that there are many cooperating opportunities and cooperating potential in developing Indian market and the export of Chinese steel products. They would like to establish long-term friendly relationship, consolidate communication and expand cooperation so as to realize co-development. Mr. Tae-Sung Park invited Mr. Huang to visit the New-Delhi Office on his next business trip to India, and Mr. Huang also invited him to visit Sinosteel India Company.
Heads of Management and Development Dept., Sinosteel Trading, Sinosteel Raw Materials and Sinosteel Iron & Steel also attended the meeting.
