From Dec. 13 to 16, the 2004 Sinosteel Financial Summing-Up Meeting was held in Beijing. Mr Huang Tianwen attended the meeting and made an important speech.
Mr Huang first introduced the reform and development in Sinosteel, and pointed out that we have sought the market opportunities and received the best operating results in history after the course of thought revolution, sense transformation, reform and professional & international managing and developing strategy.
On the meeting, Mr Huang raised several requirements on financial work. All the accounting and finance departments will follow these requirements to finish the budget and final accounts and to practice the new accounting rules. All the subsidiaries should pay attention to the basic management that centers on finance management and the centralization of finance management; properly handle the relations among service, management and supervision, so as to provide financial guarantee to the reform and development of Sinosteel. Finance operators should lay stress on study and improve their overall quality to suit the demands of the market economy and Sinosteel’s development.
At last, Mr Huang believes that Sinosteel will make great progress in the coming 2005 in line with the spirit of teamwork, down-to-earth, efficiency and forwardness.
