From April 9 to 12, as a member of the CCPIT entrepreneur representative delegation, Sinosteel president Mr. Tianwen Huang accompanied Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council visiting India.
During the visit, the entrepreneur representative delegation was warmly received by Premier Wen Jiabao and took a group picture with Premier. On the afternoon of April 11, Mr. Huang and other entrepreneur representatives form China and also from India listened to the speech by the Premier Wen at the Seminar on “China-India Commerce Cooperation”. In the evening, they also attended the cultural performance with the Chinese and Indian Premiers.
Mr. Huang also attended “China-India Bilateral Council” organized by CCPIT and FICCI and “Economic & Trade Discussing Meeting”. He had extensive communication and exchanges with the Indian counterpart, further discussed on how to consolidate and expand cooperation between Sinosteel and Indian companies and how to raise the cooperating level and quality.
Before receiving the Premier, Mr. Huang take this opportunity to visit MMTC and held talks with the Chairman Mr. Kappor. Both sides would like to continue the years of friendly cooperation between Sinosteel and MMTC. Mr. Huang also held talks on cooperation with Mideast Integrated Steel Company in India and D. Brothers Company.
Besides, Mr. Huang also researched on the spot and inspected the office of Sinosteel (India) Pty., Ltd. under construction.
Accompanied Mr. Huang on the visit are general manager of International Cooperation Dept. Mr. Zhijun Wang and general manager of Sinosteel Trading Mr. Yi Li.
