On the afternoon of July 27, president Mr. Huang Tianwen met the visiting 4-people delegation from Jiangsu Yonggang Group led by Vice General Manager Mr. Huang Junshi.
Mr. Huang Tianwen expressed his welcome to their first visit, and introduced Sinosteel, the exploration and application of overseas resources, core business and comprehensive customer developing principle. Sinosteel has the global operating ability of providing comprehensive service and metallurgical materials for steel mills. We would like to strengthen on the cooperation with Jiangsu Yonggang Group, establish long-term win-win cooperation with mutual trust so as to promote co-development.
Then, Mr. Huang Junshi introduced the developing history, production & operation, technical equipment and the future developing strategy of Jiangsu Yonggang Group. He also expressed the wish to cooperate with such large-scale corporation as Sinosteel, to establish long-term stable cooperating relations and business channel. The total assets of Jiangsu Yonggang Group are 6 billion RMB. Jiangsu Yonggang Group has a production capacity of 2 million tons of steel and 3 million tons of rolled metal per annum, has realized 10.632 billion of revenue and 789 million of tax.
Through the discussion, both sides consider there is much cooperating space in iron ore, steel products, billet, scrap, coke, ferroalloy and engineering. With good cooperating perspective, both parties would like to actively carry out strategic cooperation and accelerate the specific business.
Besides, the relative business companies introduced their own business and cooperating fields as well.
Vice president Mr. He Lin and heads of Management and Development Dept., Sinosteel Trading, Sinosteel Raw Materials, Sinosteel Iron & Steel, Sinosteel Shipping, Sinosteel Engineering and Sinosteel Tendering also attended the meeting.
