On the morning of February 11, Party Secretary of Sinosteel Corporation and General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited Liu Andong met with visiting Rong Jianxun, the Work Committee of Tianjin Hi-tech Zone, Ni Xiangyu, director of the Management Committee, and their party at Group headquarters. The two sides discussed and exchanged deepening cooperation, promoting the development of Sinosteel enterprises in Tianjin, project operation and other matters. Deputy General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited Wang Wenjun attended the meeting.
General Manager Liu welcomed the guests to visit Sinosteel and expressed thanks for the long-term concern and support given by all levels of government and high-tech zones to Sinosteel, especially in enterprises of Sinosteel in Tianjin. Liu said that Sinosteel positively responded the national industry restructuring policy, and regarded the S&T industry as one of the major industries both at current and in future. As a technology enterprise in Tianjin, Sinosteel Geological Institute has a strong influence in terms of jewelry and gold. He hoped to work together to foster the industry, to help enterprises develop and to contribute to economic and social development of Tianjin with the support of all levels of government and high-tech zones in Tianjin.
Secretary Rong Jianxun thanked Sinosteel for actively supporting the development of Tianjin Hi-tech Zone for a long time, introduced the construction and development of Tianjin Hi-tech Zone in recent years, and hoped to rely on the good opportunities by which our state promoted the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and strategy, and to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in terms of S&T research and development with the Sinosteel so as to promote progress of the related projects and achieve mutual benefit and common development.
