On the morning of August 6th, Xu Siwei, the President of Sinosteel Corporation and Chairman of Sinosteel Corporation Limited, met with the visiting Academician Zhong Zhihua, the party member and secretary-general of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Tang Di, the professor from University of Science and Technology Beijing. Both sides conducted an in-depth discussion on relevant cooperation. Wang Wenjun, Deputy General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited and Xue Linghu, general manager assistant attended the meeting.

He pointed out that in-depth integration of the new generation information technology and the manufacturing has been triggering a great impact on the far-reaching industrial revolution and the formation of new production pattern, industrial form, business mode as well as economic growth point. Intelligent manufacturing, such as intelligent equipment, intelligent plant, etc, have been guiding the transformation of manufacturing mode. In the future, steel mills will usher in a new revolution in the form of industry. Zhong Zhihua also introduced the implementation progress of Chinese Academy of Engineering in major research fields under the strategical background of Made-in-China 2025.
