On behalf of Sinosteel Corporation, Vice-president Dong Zhixiong delivered a speech entitled “Exploiting 2 kinds of the markets for coking and chemical industry and constructing saving style society”. Sinosteel Corporation also put on a display in the exhibition area.
About 400 people specialized in coking technology and in production, trade, scientific research and application of coke took part in the congress. Huang Jingan, director general of China Coking Industry Association; Fan Weitang, Chairman of China National Coal Industry Association; Director of Shanxi Province Development & Reform Commission and representatives from State Environmental Protection Administration were also in attendance and delivered speeches.
The attendees had a lively discussion of the development of coking technology in China; the Impact of Chinese coke market on the international coke demand; the outlook of 2005 coke market both at home and abroad etc.
