Ms. Chen Cuimei from Sinosteel Wuhan Safety & Environmental Protection Research Institute (WSEPRI) was elected the “National Model Worker”. She is engaged in the inspection and supervision of industrial structure safety in metallurgical industry, and is the representative in the industry of special equipment inspection in our country. Now, she is also the member of the inspection branch of China Special Equipment Technology Commission, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
Ms. Chen Cuimei graduated from the Schoool of Material Science and Engineering, Central South University in 1982, and started working in Sinosteel WSEPRI in 1986. Now, she is a member of the Party Commission in Sinosteel WSEPRI, head of Industrial Structure Safety Research Institute, professor engineer, expert to enjoy special governmental allowance and Wuhan NPC representative. She won the May First Labor Medal of Hubei Province in 2003, and won the title of Hubei Model Worker in 2004 and the National Model Worker in 2005.
