On Dec. 21 and 22, 2005, president Mr. Huang Tianwen led a delegation attending the general meeting of shareholders and opening ceremony of Sinosteel Xi’an Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. He also met Shaanxi vice secretary, Xi’an secretary Mr. Yuan Chunqing, deputy provincial governor of Shaanxi Provincial Standing Committee and Shaanxi Province Mr. Zhao Zhengyong and director of Shaanxi SASAC Mr. Qiu Shijie, etc. Vice president Mr. Wang Zhenwu, chief accountant Mr. Liu Andong and heads of Human Resources Dept., Accounting and Finance Dept., Development and Management Dept., Legal Affairs Dept. and Sinosteel Investment Company. At 2pm on Dec. 21, as shareholder representative, Mr. Huang attended the second 2005 Sinosteel Xi’an Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. temporary meeting of shareholders in Xi’an Tianyi Commercial Hotel. On the conference, the new company rules were passed and the new board and guardian were also elected. On the first meeting of board held afterwards, recommended by Sinosteel Corporation, Mr. Zhou Hezhou was elected the first chairman of the board, general manager of Xi’an Heavy Machinery.At 9:58 on Dec. 22, Mr. Huang and director of Shaanxi SASAC Mr. Qiu Shijie uncovered Sinosteel Xi’an Heavy Machinery. About 200 cadres and employee representatives attended the ceremony. President Mr. Huang Tianwen and director Mr. Qiu Shijie delivered enthusiastic speeches. Vice president Mr. Wang Zhenwu read the rename decision of Xi’an Heavy Machinery. President Huang declared Sinosteel Heavy Machinery become a member of Sinosteel Corporation. The general middle-level cadre and leader conference was convened after the ceremony. Vice president Mr. Wang Zhenwu declared the board, party commission and management members. Mr. Zhou Hezhou was assigned as chairman of the board, Mr. Wang Wenjun, Mr. Lei Ming and Mr. Xia Yu as directors; Mr. Zhou Hezhou as party secretary, Mr. Zhu Jiayu as party vice secretary, as secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection; Mr. Zhou Hezhou as the general manager, Mr. Liu Ming as deputy general manager, Mr. Zhuang Tao and Mr. Yi Minshe as vice general managers, Mr. Chen Suhang as chief accounting supervisor and Mr. Lei Ming as the general engineer.
President Huang raised expectations to the new leader team. They should be with strong responsibility and enterprising spirit; with market economic awareness and pioneering spirit; make efforts unswervingly and unremittingly; be able to and be good at management; be strict with oneself and refrain oneself.
After the meeting, president Huang also raised some specific requirements to the leader team.
