On April the 23rd, president Huang met with Mr. R. Bandyopadhyay, secretary of Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises of India, the two sides exchanged views on related issues.
President Huang expressed that the enterprises of India and China have been maintaining good economic and trade cooperation, and the perspective for further cooperation is very broad. Sinosteel is willing to keep close communication with all walks of India to further promote the cooperation of the two countries, contributing to joint development of the enterprises of the two sides.
Mr. R. Bandyopadhyay stated that China and India has a long history of communication, which serves as a solid foundation for long-term and stable cooperation of all sides. The national enterprises of India are quite willing to develop cooperation with Sinosteel for joint development.
Before the meeting, the guests visited Sinosteel Exhibition Room.
The leaders from India Shipping Corporation of India Limited, Coal India Limited, India National Building Construction Corporation and Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, NTPC, and Counselor & Second Secretary of Embassy of India, Ms Xuchi of SASAC also accompanied the visit.
Vice-chairman Jiang Hong, Secretary of the Board of Directors and director of the Office of the Board also attended the visit.
