At 11 am, April 28th, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Sinosteel Binhai Base project was held successfully in Binhai Development Districe, Changzhou City, Hebei province, marking a milestone development for Sinosteel Binhai Base project. President Huang Tianwen, Secretary Zhang Hanguang, vice-governor Sun Shibin of Hebei province, Deputy Party Secretary of Changzhou Municipality Zhang Yu, deputy-managing director of Binhai Development District Managing Committee Yin Enyuan attended the ceremony, and Sinosteel’s senior executives namely Mr. Jiang Hong, Mr. Li Zhimin, Mrs. Yang Yaqing, Mr. Shao Dianxiang, Mr. Liu Andong, Mr. Li Yi, Mr. Gong Jingsheng, Mr. Wang Wenjun, Mr. Wu Yongsheng, Mr. Li Kejie together witnessed the significant moment of Changzhou Binhai Development District. A total number of almost 1300 leaders, journalists etc. cerebrated the ceremony together.
In recent years, according to the overall planning and development goals, Sinosteel strongly reinforced the construction of Changzhou Binhai Base project. Sinosteel Binhai Company made the “Overall Planning of Sinosteel Binhai Base Project” following the thought of “Fully display Sinosteel’s strengths, integrate related iron and steel resources; work closely with local economies, work well at the ports”. The business scope of Binhai project covers the rang of production and processing, trade and logistics, storage and allocation, high sic-tech, recycling economy and outside cooperation, including 400 thousand ton nickel iron project, 4.8 million acid pellet project, 20 million ton iron ore stock ground etc. Sinosteel Binhai Base project will fully display Sinosteel’s strengths in the area of industries, resources, logistics etc.
In the ceremony, president Huang made joyful speech representing Sinosteel, he expressed the gratitude for the strong support of all walks of Hebei province and Changzhou city, which ensured the smooth going of Sinosteel Binhai Base project. President huang stated that Sinosteel will continue to promote the development of the project, and with the supports from related parties, the project will surely meet its goal, contributing to Binhai Development District of Changzhou.
Changzhou mayor Mr. Liu Xueku stated that Sinosteel Binhai Base project will significantly contribute to the economy of Changzhou city, Binhai Development District, and hoping that through close cooperation, Sinosteel Binhai Base project will become a top standard project. He also encouraged related departments of Changzhou city to create favorable environment and service for the project, to guarantee the smoothness of the project.
At around 11:30, president Huang Tianwen of Sinosteel, vice-governor of Hebei province Sun Shibin, Changzhou mayor Liu Xueku together pressed the starting button. In a cheerful environment, president Huang Tianwen, secretary Zhang Hanguang and other leaders together earthed up the foundation stone, the ceremony gained great success.
Before the ceremony, vice-governor of Hebei province Sun Shibin met with the delegation of president Huang Tianwen and secretary Zhang Hanguang, the two parties conducted friendly communication on related issues.
