Liu Guowang Conducts Market Research and Visits Key Customers in Europe

Recently, Liu Guowang, Chairman of Sinosteel Group, led a delegation to Luxembourg and Spain to conduct market research, visit key customers, understand downstream industry chain demands for chrome products, and specifically called on ArcelorMittal Stainless Steel and Acerinox. Liu Guowang emphasized that Sinosteel will always uphold a customer-centric business philosophy, committed to maintaining long-term stable and mutually beneficial cooperative relationships, focusing on enhancing QCDVS system capabilities, continuously improving value creation and service levels, and jointly promoting the healthy development of the chrome raw materials and stainless steel industry.

Terris, controlled by Sinosteel Group, maintains global leadership in chrome ore reserves and ferrochrome production capacity. Its sales subsidiary Samchrome serves as Terris's unified global sales platform, responsible for worldwide sales of products from the production base Samancor. The European market is a crucial sales market for Samchrome besides Asia. ArcelorMittal Stainless Steel and Acerinox, as major European stainless steel manufacturers, have maintained friendly and trustworthy cooperative relationships with Samchrome for many years.

In Luxembourg, Liu Guowang met with Mr. Timoteo, CEO of ArcelorMittal Stainless Steel, and his team. He introduced the basic situation of Sinosteel Group and Terris, and both parties had in-depth discussions on ferrochrome supply cooperation, green low-carbon development, industrial chain cooperation, and chrome industry market development. Liu Guowang stated that Sinosteel Group combines international and market-oriented development genes, with the vision of becoming a world-class minor metals resource supplier. As the world's largest chrome resource company, Terris has numerous upstream and downstream partners in the global industrial chain and will continue to promote green sustainable development with higher ESG management standards. He expressed gratitude to ArcelorMittal Stainless Steel for choosing Sinosteel as a major supplier and affirmed that Sinosteel will consistently maintain its customer-centric business philosophy, continuously improve production delivery and service capabilities, and hoped to develop broader cooperation in green low-carbon smelting for mutual benefit.

Subsequently, Liu Guowang visited Acerinox in Madrid, Spain, and had thorough discussions with CEO Mr. Bernardo and his team. Both parties extensively discussed chrome industry development, company operations and development strategies, green development, and production coordination at the South African base. They also explored potential cooperation opportunities in low-carbon metallurgical engineering design and photovoltaic smelting. After introducing Sinosteel and Terris, Liu Guowang stated that Sinosteel will continue to be Acerinox's most reliable supplier, maintaining stable ferrochrome raw material supply while providing the best possible service. The company will actively explore optimal pathways for product manufacturing and application in the European market and deepen cooperation based on customers' research and development needs for new green zero-emission stainless steel products. He expressed hope for strengthened mutual visits and joint development between both parties.
