On the afternoon of August 29, the launching conference for the Blue Book on Social Responsibility of Central Enterprises (2019) (hereinafter referred to as Blue Book) and the centralized release ceremony for Social Responsibility Report of Central Enterprises sponsored by SASAC of the State Council was held in Beijing, and Peng Huagang, Secretary General of SASAC attended the conference and made a speech. Sinosteel Sustainability Report 2018 (hereinafter referred to as Report) participated in the first centralized release and exhibition of the social responsibility report of the central enterprises.
The Report, with the sustainable development responsibility model of Sinosteel as the main line, with the "Foundation of Development · Value of Sinosteel", "Way of Sustainability · Green Sinosteel", "Source of Original Aspiration · Harmonious Sinosteel" as the subject of chapters, expounds the concept of Sinosteel in performing its responsibilities, practice and achievements from three dimensions including economy, environment and society, responds to the expectations and appeal of stakeholders and shows the image of a responsible state-owned enterprise. This is the 12th year for Sinosteel to release the Report consecutively, which was rated as the "Four-star and a Half" leading report by the rating expert committee for the social responsibility report of the Chinese enterprises, and was highly affirmed by the leading experts.
On the conference, the SASAC's Blue Book was released officially, the "Black Technology" Lifts the Beautiful Chinese Blue Sky and Green Water organized and compiled by Sinosteel was included as a typical case.
