On September 3, Xu Siwei, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of Sinosteel, and Liu Andong, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sinosteel, met with the visiting delegation led by Zou Wenhui, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Changde, at the headquarters of the Group. Both sides had a friendly talk on deepening cooperation. Group leaders Lu Pengcheng and Gong Jingsheng participated in the meeting.
Xu Siwei welcomed the guests and gave a brief introduction to the business layout, reform and development of Sinosteel. He said that Sinosteel highly values the opportunities for cooperation with the local government and would like to maintain intensive exchanges and communication with the Changde Municipal Government, explore mutually beneficial cooperation models, and make more contributions to the local economic and social development.
Liu Andong focused on introducing the overall operation and strategic planning of Sinosteel. He said that Changde is an ideal destination for investment due to its abundant natural resources and beautiful environment. He expected both parties to make use of their respective advantages and continue to intensify exchanges in the fields of new materials, safety and environmental protection, high-temperature and thermal energy. He said that Sinosteel will build a team dedicated to in-depth inspections and connections with Changde in order to promote project cooperation in multiple fields that will deliver mutual benefits, win-win and opportunities of coordinated development.
Zou Wenhui thanked Sinosteel for the warm reception and introduced the economic and social development of Changde. He said that Sinosteel has been dedicated to innovation-driven development with keen determination and has made achievements in transformation and upgrading in recent years. He sincerely welcomed and expected Sinosteel to settle down and invest in Changde. He hoped that the two parties will deepen connection via dedicated teams with a pragmatic attitude, accelerate the advancement of preliminary work and cooperation process, strive to develop advantages in industry import and brand introduction, establish cooperation as soon as possible, quicken the pace of project implementation, and drive common development.
