On the morning of June 12th, the Party Secretary of Sinosteel Corporation and General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited Liu Andong met Mr. Kui Kunhua, the governor of Kampot Province, Kingdom of Cambodia, as well as the people accompanying him at Distinguished Guestroom 3810. The two parties have communicated with friendliness on the related projects Sinomerco had in Cambodia. The vice-governor of Kampot Province Mr. Jin Pala, and the general manager of Sinomerco attended the meeting.
First, Liu Andong extended warm welcome for Governor Kui Kunhua and accompanying people visiting Sinosteel. He specifically introduced the main business of Sinosteel as well as its great impact, both at home and abroad as a service provider in the steel industry. Manager Liu said that Sinosteel would take advantage of the great strategic development opportunity of national “One Belt and One Road” to vigorously explore overseas market. Cambodia is the significant strategic point of “21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, therefore, the group actively support the investment in and cooperation with Kampot Province, Cambodia by Sinomerco in terms of economy and trade.
Governor Kui Kunhua expressed his gratitude towards the excellent arrangement of Sinosteel and briefly introduced the basic information of Kampot Province. He also talked about the visit and bidding in Shandong Province. He said that he appreciate China’s “One Belt and One Road” development strategy very much and sincerely hope that China Steel could invest and seek further development in Kampot Province. He, personally, and the departments concerned in Kampot Province will try all their best to support the development of Sinomerco in Cambodia.
