On the afternoon of June 13, president Huang Tianwen met Mr. Anthony Loo, Managing Director—Rio Tinto Asia, Rio Tinto China in the headquarter of Sinosteel. Relative persons from Sinosteel Trading and International Cooperation Dept. accompanied Mr. Huang.
During the talk, president Huang extensively introduced the business and developing situation to the guests and retrospect to the long-term cooperating history, current situation and friendly relationship between Sinosteel and Rio Tinto. Mr. Huang expressed his wishes on consolidating and expanding cooperation on the current projects and furthering the cooperation to more areas. Mr. Anthony Loo introduced the general business of Rio Tinto, the recent revampment of Rio Tinto Asia and its business layout; he also stressed that Rio Tinto pays importance to maintaining the close cooperative relations with Sinosteel and hoped both side would fully exert each other’s advantages, exchange engineering information and endeavor to expand the cooperation in more fields.
