Dec. 18, 2009 Annual Conference of China Chamber of International Commerce was held in Beijing. Mr. Bai Lichen, Vice Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference CPPCC; Mr. Wan Jifei, Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International TradeCCPIT; Mr. Zhu Min, Vice President of Bank of China attended the conference and delivered speeches. Mr. Huang Tianwen, Chairman of Sinosteel Corporation Ltd. attended the conference and participated in interactive discussion on subject of Independent Innovation and International Competition.
Chairman Huang analyzed the matter of independent innovation in Chinese enterprises through three aspects—innovation consciousness, innovation environment and innovation talents. He stated that the society, the government and enterprise itself should all promote and support the good environment of independent innovation. He also answered questions about the role of independent innovation in contemporary production-oriented service industry.
