On the morning of Sep. 8, the 13th China International Fair For Investment & Trade was held in Xiamen. The fair is organized by the Ministry of Commerce, and chaired by deputy minister Mr. Jiang Weizeng. State Councilor & Secretary-general of the State Council Mr. Ma Kai, Former Vice Premier Ms. Wu Yi, minister of the Ministry of Commerce Mr. Chen Deming attended the fair. This fair gathered more than 50 thousand distinguished guests from more than 100 countries, marking another historical record of the fair in terms of scale.
At the invitation of the organizers, Vice-president of Sinosteel Corporation Limited Mr. Wang Wenjun attended the fair and addressed the guests on Cross-strait Economic Cooperation Mechanism and Industrial Cooperation. Mr. Wang introduced Sinosteel to the fair and pointed that Sinosteel has been maintaining close cooperation with Taiwan enterprises such as China Steel Group and E-United Group in recent years, and also called for a deeper cooperation and long-term cooperative cross-strait mechanism for joint development.
