Recently, the Ministry of Commerce ’s "WTO economic Guide" magazine released the “2008 Golden Bee CSR China list”. Sinosteel, together with another international famous enterprise for instance: Chinese Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, IBM, Nokia, China Mobile etc. won the award.
“Golden Bee CSR” election committee commented that Sinosteel, as one of the large-scale state-owned enterprise that first “go global”, shoulders great responsibility in promoting sustainable development. Meanwhile, at the global level, Sinosteel has been adhering to “cooperation, friendship, win-win situation, and development”, continuously promoting the development of local communities, is a model state-owned enterprise of CSR.
