On the afternoon of May 16, 2007, President Huang Tianwen met the delegation led by Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto of Jharkhand Government in Sinosteel headquarters.
President Huang Tianwen expressed his warmly welcomed to the delegation. He said that Sinosteel have developed businesses for many years, and established Sinosteel India Private Ltd. President Huang expressed his sincere gratitude to the support from Indian Government including Jharkhand Government in business activities of Sinosteel.
President Huang Tianwen introduced Sinosteel’s core business, resources development, and five industrials. He expressed that Sino-Indian make up each other’s shortcomings and the bilateral relationship between the two parties goes on well day by day. Now the iron and steel industries fasting development in China, Indian have great ambitions in the development of iron and steel industries, the both parties have great developing foreground.
Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto expressed that he is feeling a great honour for this visit to Sinosteel. He said Indian have a friendship relationship with China, the economic cooperation of parties is always been tightness, which is also neighbouring country. He is very happy to see Sinosteel invested in India, Jharkhand Government will support and concerted on business development of Sinosteel in Jharkhand.
Before the meeting, the delegation visited Sinosteel exhibition room.
Sinosteel heads of Accounting & Finance, Development & Management Dept., International Cooperation Dept., Sinosteel Trading Company, Equipment & Engineering Company, Shipping & Forwarding Company, Mining Corporation also attended the meeting.
