Corporation Donations to Sichuan's Quake-Hit Regions Rising to 13.8 Million Yuan

After a major earthquake jolted Wenchuan County, Sinosteel organized its subsidiaries in Sichuan done rescue and relif work, actively deployed donation for quake-hit victimes. On May 12, Sinosteel immediately contacted with the Red Cross Society of China for the issues of donation, and donated five million yuan for quake-hit areas. Then donated one million yuan for the serious quake-hit Dongfang Electric Corporation.Face to the serious situation of quake-hit regions, corporation leadership immediately and actively played a leading role donated for the quake victimes, all staffs for being generous with their money to help quake victimes. As of noon of May 20, corperation donations for earthquake survivors had reached 13.8 million yuan.

Up today, the donated money and relief materials had been forwarded to the disaster area with different ways. At the same time, the donation is still continue working.
