Recently, the largest & heaviest composite cast steel back-up roll in China was successfully produced in Sinosteel Xingtai Machinery & Mill Roll Co. Ltd. The back-up roll is of 1800mm in diameter, 8460mm in length and weights 109 ton.
As the “star” product of Sinosteel Xingtai, the composite cast steel back-up roll has long been warmly welcomed by the market, and widely used in various kinds of medium and wide mill in China and abroad. The newly produced back-up roll adopted most advanced technology, and went through strict process management. To guarantee the successfully pouring of the product, Sinosteel Xingji committed tremendous efforts in preparing, processing, and system building, which laid solid foundation for the successfulness of the product.
This new achievement not only renewed numbers of records in composite cast steel back-up roll production to an international leading level, but also accumulated precious experience for back-up roll production.
