On the afternoon of Mar. 13th, Chairman Huang Tianwen met with the delegation led by Hengyang meyor Mr. Zhang Ziyin. The two sides conducted detailed discussions regarding further cooperation on relevant project.
Chairman Huang introduced Sinosteel’s development situation, five industries, as well as certain measures and achievements on facing the global financial crisis, and expressed Sinosteel’s willingness to further unfold cooperation with relevant parties of Heng Yang, to realize mutual benefit and joint development.
Mayor Zhang expressed in his speech that he is strongly touched by the achievements Sinosteel has undergone in recent years, highly praised Sinosteel’s action measures in combating the global financial crisis, and delivered gratitude to Sinosteel for promoting the development of Hengyang on behalf of Hengyang Municipal government. Mayor Zhang said that Hengyang would place more emphasis on the cooperation projects, and providing more support for the projects. The two sides conducted detailed communication regarding the project and reached to certain understandings.
Before the meeting, Mayor Zhang and his entourage also visited Sinosteel exhibition room.
The entourage also included Mr. Duan Zhigang, vice-mayor of Hengyang Municipal gorvenment, Mr. Wu Ruixiang, deputy secretary-general of Hengyang Municipal governement, Chief of the State Owned Property Committee of Hengyang, manager of Hong Xiang Company and other officials.
Vice General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited Mr. Liu Andong and Mr. Gong Jingsheng and heads from related departments also attended the meeting.
