On January 9, 2006, Sinosteel Scie-Tech Shanghai Co., Ltd., invested by Sinosteel Scie-Tech Development Company, Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research and Simonsen from Denmark started operation in Shanghai Chang’an Plaza. General manager of Sinosteel Scie-Tech Development Company, director of Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research Ms. Li Hongxia and general manager of Simonsen Mr. Morten attended the ceremony.    As Sinosteel R & D and scientific investment stage and with solid strength in scientific and technological R & D and investment, Sinosteel Scie-Tech Development Company is tasked with technical support to the group’s core businesses development, managing R & D of scientific and technological institutes and establishing new scientific and technological bases.     Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research is the only comprehensive research institute in refractories in China, the technical, academic, information and service center in refractory field and one of the most competitive high-tech refractory companies.
