On the afternoon of 18, the delegation led by Mr. Huang was warmly received by Mr. Yunfei Zhou, vice mayor of Huaian, Mr.Daping He, chairman of Huaigang and people from Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, Huai’an, the Economic & Trade Commission, Huai’an and Huaigang. Mr. Daping He first welcomed the visit of Mr. Tianwen Huang and expressed his gratitude for Sinosteel long-term support and cooperation. Mr. Daping He introduced the production and operation situation in Huaigang in 2004 and the developing goal of Huaigang technical reforming project in the second session of the tenth 5-year. He looked back upon the pleasant cooperation history in the past decade. On behalf of Huai’an Government and its people, Vice Mayor Yunfei Zhou extended his great appreciation over the contribution made by Sinosteel in the development of Huaigang, and expected further cooperation between each side. President Huang introduced the developing situation in resource, trade and science & technology after the one-year reform and practice of specialized and internationalized operation, and he believed that the perspective of Sinosteel and Huaigang would be promising through the effort made by both sides.
After the discussion, the visiting delegation, leaders from Huai’an Government and Huaigang attended the signing ceremony of Sinosteel-Huaigang Strategic Cooperative Agreement, which was hosted by Ms. Shouqin Zhou, vice director of Huai’an Economic & Trade Commission. Chairman Daping He and Vice Mayor Yunfei Zhou delivered speeches afterwards. In Mr. Huang’s speech, he expressed his thanks for the great support and guidance of the leaders from Huai’an Government through the strategic cooperation between Sinosteel and Huaigang, and stressed on the introduction of Sinosteel’s overseas resources.
