From January 24 and 25, 2005, president Tianwen Huang led a delegation visiting Handan Steel, Xinxing Pipes and Zongheng Steel. Those accompanied Mr. Huang are vice president Lin He, general managers from the Accounting & Finance Dept., Management & Development Dept., Sinosteel Trading, Sinosteel Raw Materials, Sinosteel Iron & Steel, Sinosteel Engineering, Sinosteel Shipping & Forwarding, Sinosteel Investment and Sinosteel Tendering.
The delegation led by Mr. Huang was warmly received by all these three companies. During the visit, Mr. Huang held sincere formal discussions with Mr. Yifang Wang, general manager of Handan Iron & Steel Group, Mr. Mingzhong Liu, chairman of Xinxing Pipes, and Mr. Jimu Sun, chairman of Handan Zongheng Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. respectively. Besides, accompanied by the leaders from these companies, the delegation also visited the main production spot.
On the mutual discussions with each side, leaders from both sides introduced the operating result and reforming & developing situation in 2004 to each other and the operating & developing plan in 2005. They have reached the common views in further consolidating & developing the relationship, strengthening the communications between the leaders and other levels, giving full play to each other’s advantages and condition and constantly expanding business cooperation scale so as to make up each other’s shortcomings and realize co-development.
Besides, Sinosteel Corporation intends to conduct comprehensive cooperation with Xinxing Pipes and establish long-term and steady strategic cooperative relations. Leaders from both sides have assigned the relevant departments to hold specific discussions on strategic cooperation and work hard to launch and sign the strategic cooperative agreement. Sinosteel with conduct strategic cooperation with Zhongheng Steel; it is made clear that the agreement will be signed in
Mr.Huang’s visit further strengthens the cooperative relations with the companies, improves the friendship, promotes the communications and raises the image of Sinosteel Corporation. The whole visit is successful; the delegation has achieved the expected result.
