July, 8, “Fortune” magazine announced the list of 2010 Fortune 500, Sinosteel was ranked 352nd in Fortune 500.
In 2009, Sinosteel was included in the list of Fortune 500 for the first time, ranking 372nd. Faced with the global financial crisis and the severe impacts, staffs of Sinosteel overcame kinds of difficulties through hard work, and realized satisfactory results in terms of operation and management. However, there are still difficulties and challenges ahead, therefore, it is necessary for the staffs of Sinosteel to keep a clear mind, work harder on the basis of current experiences, in order to realize the sustainable, stable and healthy development of the enterprise.
The basic “entrance store” for 2010 Fortune 500 is 17.053 billion USD, fell 8.18% compared with 18.572 billion USD in 2009. In 2010, all together 54 Chinese enterprises was listed, 11 more than the number of last year, of which 46 Chinese Mainland, Taiwan 8.
