On the morning of Feb. 24, 2006, president Huang Tianwen met the visiting China Communications Construction Group (Ltd.) president Meng Fengchao in No. 1 meeting room in Sinosteel.
First, on behalf of Sinosteel, president Huang warmly welcomed the delegation led by president Meng Fengchao, and introduced Sinosteel’s strategic developing thought of raising overall comprehensive service capability for steel mills and the general goal of raising the systematic importance in metallurgical industry, together with Sinosteel overseas resources development and new move of domestic acquisitions and mergers. President Meng Fengchao introduced the main tasks and developing thought of China Harbor in the past year and after the establishment of China Communications Construction Group (Ltd.). He also extended his gratitude to Sinosteel for its influence in the signing of strategic cooperation agreements among the five parties in 2005. Both sides laid positive comment on the communications and cooperation after the signing of strategic cooperation agreement, and they both agreed that the two sides should keep close contact, exert each other’s advantages, consolidate overseas resources development cooperation in investment, technology and engineering and realize win-win. Vice president Li Zhimin, personnel from International Cooperation Dept. and Sinosteel Investment Company also attended the meeting.
