From May 12 to 17, 2007, Vice President Jiang Hong led a Sinosteel trading delegation visited India. On May 14, the delegation visited the Business Counsellor Liu Runing, Embassy of People’s Republic of China in India, Mr. Kohli, Vice Secretary General of FICCI, President Batra of MMTC, and the Ambassador Sun Yuxi. During the visit with the Ambassador Sun Yuxi, Vice President Jiang expressed his sincere gratitude to the support and help from Ambassador Sun Yuxi to Sinosteel India Private Ltd., and introduced Sinosteel’s operating development in the recent situation and development planning in India. Ambassador Sun Yuxi stressed that Sinosteel India Private Ltd. is a central enterprise under India Chamber of Commerce, that plays an important part in the trading of Sino-India, meanwhile, exerts an important function in culture communication and promote the bilateral relationship.
On the afternoon of May 15, Vice President Jiang visited Minister Akhilesh Das of India Ministry of Steel.
The delegation arrived at India GOA on May 16, visited SESA GOA, which is the core business producer and exporter in India.
The delegation also included heads of Trading Company, India Private Ltd. and relatives.
