Hangzhou Gulf Cross-sea Bridge was Completely Finished with Span

On May 21, Hangzhou Gulf Cross-sea Bridge was completely finished with span, that mean the construction on top of the bridge was completely finished with structure of concrete, and been 189 days ahead of the expecting date, which is constructed by Sinosteel, China railway engineering group co., ltd, China communications construction group and etc. It ranks No. 1 in span length among cross-sea bridges in the world and creates a high road across Hangzhou Gulf. This bridge, with a total investment of 11.8 billion RMB, is located in the most prosperous area-Yangtze River Delta, Hangzhou Gulf Cross-sea Bridge stretches from Jiaxing to Cixi with a total length of 36km, which will be expected completion in year 2008, and opened to traffic in year 2009. After the opening, Hangzhou Gulf Cross-sea Bridge stretches from Ningbo to Shanghai will be with a short of total length of more than 120km.
