On the evening of June 20, Sinosteel held a grand function in Perth, the capital of Western Australia (WA). On behalf of Sinosteel, Mr. Huang delivered a speech. Over 200 people attended the function, including: Mr. Eric Ripper, Deputy Premier and Treasurer of WA, Mr. Paul Omodei, MLA Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Richard Court, the former premier of WA, Mrs. Sally Mansfield, representative of the Minister of the Australian Ministry of Trade, Mr. Jiang Shan, and Mr. Wang Chunhua, councilor of the Chinese Council in Perth; guests from the WA Ministry of Industrial Resources, Rio Tinto, BHP, Mineralogy, Midwest, Mt Gibson Iron, Gunson Resources, Anglo Australian Resources, Fox Resources, Hancock, Shougang Group, Baosteel, Angang, Bank of China, CCPIT, China Chamber of Commerce, Western Australia Business Council, Australia China Business Council Western Australia Branch, and media such as: The Australia, The Financial Review, The Western Australian, the Xinhua News Agency and CCTV.
In his speech, Mr. Huang said, the purpose of Sinosteel delegation visit to Australia this time are mainly to further discuss on expanding and deepening the cooperation between Sinosteel and Australian enterprises and to promote the establishment of long-term cooperative relations between the two sides so as to better know each other and to expand the cooperation.
Sinosteel has accumulated rich experience in years of foreign economic & technological cooperation and communication with much confidence and enough capacity and strength. On the basis of the successful cooperation in the past, Sinosteel will further expand and consolidate the cooperation and communication with Australian enterprises and friends from all circles and discuss on the fields and channels of carrying out deep and all-round investment and cooperation, with equality & mutual benefit and win-win & co-development as the goal, so as to do contributions to the economic prosperity and all-round social development for China and Australia.
