Vice President Mr. Dong Zhixiong Leading a Delegation Visiting Dongbei Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation

On Jan. 19, vice president Mr. Dong Zhixiong and his delegation visited Dongbei Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. and held a discussion with the general manager Mr. Liu Wei and vice general manager Mr. Gao Bingyan. During the discussion, on behalf of Sinosteel, vice president Dong expressed spring festival greetings to the leaders, inform the recent changes of Sinosteel and made a brief introduction on the achievements of overseas resources development, domestic merging and acquisition and business operation. On behalf of Dongbei Special Steel Group Co., Ltd., general manager Mr. Liu Wei warmly welcomed president Mr. Dong and his delegation and introduced the production and operation situation, 2006 production aim and the local change of Dalian Steel Mill.On the meeting, the two parties signed scrap purchase and sale cooperation intention and made clear the cooperation intention in ferroalloy. Both sides are willing to expand and deepen the cooperation in operation, technology and equipment on the basis of the former cooperation and to sign strategic cooperation agreement at proper time. They also exchange views on the production and operation situation of iron and steel, raw materials.

On Jan. 20, vice president Mr. Dong Zhixiong and his delegation visited Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation, and held a friendly discussion with the general manager of Anshan Group International Economic and Trading Company Mr. Wang Heng. They had the cooperation intention in raw materials and steel product sale, such as scrap and hot pressed iron. With the company of the general manager assistant of Ansteel Mr. Lin Yu and other leaders, they visited the continuous casting production line, continuous rolling production line and cold rolling production line. The heads of Sinosteel Raw Materials and other related personnel accompanied in the meeting and visit.
