On the afternoon of May 8, Vice President Jiang Hong met with the delegation led by H.E. Jesus J. Wu Luy, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to P.R.China in Sinosteel headquarter.H.E. Ambassador Jesus J. Wu Luy reviewed on the situation of his previous visit, as well as Peruvian President Garcia met with Sinosteel President Huang during his visit to China. H.E. Ambassador Jesus J. Wu Luy admired by strength of Sinosteel, he welcomed Sinosteel invest in Peru, and Embassy will provide further help on business activities in Peru for Sinosteel. Vice President warmly welcomed the delegation once again and expressed that Sinosteel paying regard on the investment in Peru and others business activities, he hope on further communication with Ambassador, and provide further opportunities on mining resources information and projects development for Sinosteel. During the meeting, both parties also discussed on the issues of specific projects. At the end of the meeting, H.E. Ambassador Jesus J. Wu Luy passed Peruvian President Garcia’s autograph letter on to President Huang.
Economic Counsellor Jorge Eduardo Chian Chong and First Secretary Sandro Baldarrago accompanied during this visit.
Heads of International Cooperation Dept. and Sinosteel Mining Co. also attended the meeting.
