On the morning of March 18, the grand opening ceremony of Sinosteel Metallurgical Resources Co., Ltd. was held at the Group headquarters. Xu Siwei, President of Sinosteel Corporation and Chairman of Sinosteel Corporation Limited; Liu Andong, Party Secretary of Sinosteel Corporation and General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited and the board chairman of Sinosteel metallurgical resources; and the shareholder representatives Sinosteel metallurgical resources attended the opening ceremony. Deputy general managers Gong Jingsheng, Wang Wenjun and Wu Yongsheng, chief accountant Liu Debin, secretary of the Board of Directors Li Kejie, as well as some of the functional departments and rooms and enterprise heads in Beijing attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided by Wang Hongsen, the general manager of Sinosteel Metallurgical Resources Co., Ltd.
Liu Andong, board chairman of Sinosteel Metallurgical Resources Co., Ltd. addressed a speech at the opening ceremony. Mr. Liu warmly welcomed and thanked the guests for their presence, and put forward three fervent hopes at the company that was officially opened. First, the shareholders should give full play to their respective advantages, and jointly care and support healthy growth and development of Sinosteel metallurgical Resources -'swaddle babies' together; second, the company's senior management team should emancipate the mind, forge ahead, and manage the first mixed-ownership enterprises of Sinosteel to maximize shareholder value, customer value and employees value; third, the employees should cherish posts and devote wholeheartedly to work so that the company became a healthy and good employment and investment platform. General manager Wang Hongsen said he would unite and lead the company staff, not lose the great trust, and effectively perform his duties to make his due contribution to shareholders, employees and the society.
Subsequently, the opening ceremony proceeded successfully in simple, warm and cheerful atmosphere .
