China Imported Iron Ore Supply & Demand Meeting was opened in Harbin on Aug 9th, 05, which was sponsored by China Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by CISA & CCCMC.
As the Company-General of the Iron Ore Branch, CCCMC, Sinosteel took part in the meeting led by vice president Mr. He Lin. During the meeting, Sinosteel has its exhibition place in the meeting hall to promote the group image and expand the communication and cooperation.
Ma Jixian, head of Department of Foreign Economic Coordination under State Economic & Trade Commission, and Ma Zhanping, head of Department of Economic & Trade under NDRC have gave a speech on the new steel policy, current China steel industry situation and supply & demand conditions of domestic/international raw materials on that morning.Then, Luo Bingsheng, vice-chairman of CISA, and Chen Haoran, chairman of CCCMC have made analysis report on China iron ore import situation since 2004 as well as existing problems, and put forward their profound sight on correcting domestic market both at current and in future & stabilizing iron ore import market order.
