From October 31 to November 1, 2007, on invitation by China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO), President Huang attended “World Shipping (China) Summit 2007”, and delivered a keynote speech.This summit was sponsored by COSCO and Tianjin Government, which was the fourth since 2004. With the theme “Riding the Wave”, there were more than 800 guests from all parts of the world attended this summit. Which including Mr. Dai Xianglong, Mayor of Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Mr. Zhang Guobao, Vice Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China, Mr. Weng Mengyong, Vice Minister, Ministry of Communications of China, and many others attendees from government administration, COSCO, International and Commercial Bank of China, Sinosteel Corporation, and A.P. Moller-Maersk Group attended and address this summit.
