From October 28 to November 8, 2004, Mr Tianwen Huang, president of Sinosteel Corporation, headed a group to visit South Africa and Singapore, inspecting the local representative offices, companies and the resource investing projects of Sinosteel. Mr Zhixiong Dong, vice president of Sinosteel Corporation, and the responsible persons in the concerned departments accompanied Mr Huang on the visit.
During the visit, Mr Huang also visited the magnetite project in Limpopo Province, South Africa and paid an official call on the headquarters of the important customers, such as Kumba Resources and BHPB, and iron and manganese ore mine. He also discussed with Chinese Ambassador in South Africa on resource developing project of Sinosteel Corporation on invitation and attended the signing ceremony of strategical cooperation letter of intention between Jilin Felloalloys Group Corporation Limited and Sinosteel Corporation. Mr Jinbin Li, vice governor of Jilin Province, who came on a visit there, attended the signing ceremony, too.
