On September 11, the 4th Eastern Economic Forum was opened in Vladivostok in Russian Far-East, and President Xi Jinping of China, President Putin of Russia and the leaders of the relevant countries attended the forum. President and Secretary of the Party Committee of Sinosteel Group attended the forum and the relevant activities and made a speech at China-Russia Business Dialogue.
The theme of Dialogue Between the Chinese and Russian Local Leaders, as the important content of this forum was “Chinese and Russian Local Cooperation in New Era”. The responsible persons from 9 provinces in China, such as Guangdong and Heilongjiang, and 13 principal parts of federation of Russia attended the dialogue, and President Xi Jinping and President Putin met with the local leaders of two countries. Xu Siwei was invited to attend.
Xu Siwei made a speech at China-Russia Business Dialogue held on September 12, and he pointed out that in recent years, the political mutual trust between China and Russia had been continuously strengthened and that the good development trend of regional linkage between the Asian countries and Russian Far-East was gradually being formed. The development of Far-East should be further orientated and should be supported by enough infrastructures and policies and regulations. Sinosteel Group had rich experience in the field of overseas project contracting, was able to provide the comprehensive supporting services for the projects in Far-East and was willing to carry out the cooperation in the BOT, BOO and other modes with the local government in infrastructures and make contributions to the local development.

Xi Jinping made a speech under the title of Share the New Opportunities for Development in Far-East, and Create a New Bright Future of Northeast Asia, and he emphasized that China was willing to maintain the regional peace and tranquility, realize the mutual benefit and win-win result of the countries, consolidate the people’s traditional friendship, realize the comprehensive balanced development and promote the peace and stability, development and prosperity of this region with the countries in this region. Xu Siwei attended the meeting and exchanged with the guests attending the meeting, and he represented Sinosteel to express the intention of actively participating in the development of Far-East and promoting the cooperation in Northeast Asia together.
