From July 5 to 6, the Seventh Session of the Fourth Executive Council and the Fifth Session of the Fourth Council were held in Dalian. Vice president Mr. He Lin attended the council on behalf of Sinosteel Corporation. 64 companies including the Foreign Trade Division of Ministry of Commerce and Department of Office of Liaoning Province, and Sinosteel, China Minmetals Corporation and Sinochem attended this council.
On the conference, Chairman Mr. Chen Haoran delivered a report on the implementation of scientific developing perspective in metal mineral & chemical industry and sticking on the service of the chamber. The Metals & Minerals Department and Bidding Department reported on the marketing and specific coordinating situation of coke, iron ore, ferroalloy, tendering products and petroleum. The 2004 Work Summary-Report and 2005 Work Plan and the 2004 Financial Report were also inspected and passed on the conference.
