Recently, Tianwen Huang, President of Sinosteel met Mr. MUKHERJEE, board chairman of SESA GOA, and MITSUO KANEZASHI, Minister of Iron Ore Ministry, MITSUI & CO., LTD.President Huang reviewed cooperation among Sinosteel, SESA GOA, and MITSUI & CO., LTD in the field of iron ore, and introduced recent developing condition of Sinosteel, especially overseas resources development, merge& acquisition and core businesses expending.
Chairman MUKHERJEE introduced SESA GOA and appreciated the soaring development in Sinosteel. He expected a further cooperation between two sides.
Possessing mines in GOA、KARNAKAKA、ORISSA, SESA GOA is one of the major iron ore exporter in India, annually exporting high grade and medium grade iron ore to Japan ,China and Europe. Taken 51% of share, MITSUI & CO., LTD is the joint venture partner of SESA GOA. On July 1 2006, the three sides signed letter of intent on yearly contract and long-term cooperation, which start a new time in the history of tripartite cooperation.
This conversation set a substantial foundation for the further cooperation.
