On the morning of March 20th, Mr. Huang Mengfu, vice-chairman of CPPCC, chairman of National Association of Industry and Commerce visited Sinosteel. President Huang Tianwen, vice-chairman Mr. Li Yi, vice-chairman Mr. Gong Jingsheng, secretary of the board of directors & director of the office of the board Mr. Li Kejie met with chairman Huang Mengfu.
Chairman Huang Mengfu visited Sinosteel exhibition room and Sinosteel informationization computer room with great interest, and communicated with President Huang on some front porch issues.
The two parties held a meeting afterwards. During the meeting, president Huang Tianwen introduced Sinosteel’s main measures in facing the global financial crisis, which effectively lessened the ill impact of global financial crisis, expressing Sinosteel is working earnestly to take preemptive opportunities for further development.
Chairman Huang Mengfu expressed his praise for the stable and rapid development of Sinosteel, and emphasized the importance of further strengthen long-term development strategy, and core corporate competitiveness for Sinosteel. Chairman Huang encouraged Sinosteel to continue work on profit-winning, anti-risk and core competitiveness, forming integrated competitive advantage for the long-term development of Sinosteel.
President Huang Tianwen expressed sincere gratitude to Chairman Huang for his detailed recommendations and working scheme, and said Sinosteel will actively carry out the related works, promoting the global influence and competitiveness of Sinosteel.
Minister of National Association of Industry and Commerce Economy Ministry Mrs. Ouyang Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary-General of the Commerce for Metallurgy Industry Mr. Geng Bingxi, director of President’s Office Mr. He Xuewen, and vice-director of Minister of National Association of Industry and Commerce Economy Ministry Mrs. Wang Yi also accompanied Chairman Huang Mengfu to Sinosteel.
