On the afternoon of Nov. 30, 2005, Vice president Mr. Li Zhimin met executive director of Investment Bank Lazard Mr. F.Perkins Hixon and Mr. Shi Jinjing, Managing Director-Asia in No.1 meeting room in Sinosteel. Mr. Hixon introduced that Lazard is global investment bank, mainly engaged in merger and recombination. He would like to provide financial agent service for Sinosteel and briefly introduced the general developing trend of scrap, nickel, iron ore, coke, Zinc and manganese ore in the international market and the possibility of project acquisition.
Vice president Li briefly introduced Sinosteel core businesses, expressed the wish to cooperate with Lazard and discussed the possibility of acquisition or cooperation with production trading companies in North America.
