Eleven o’clock, August 18, the much publicized project--Huanghua Comprehensive Harbor opened to navigation in Bohai New District, Cangzhou. Secretary of Hebei Provincial Party Committee Mr. Zhang Yunchuan, Vice Secretary and Governor Mr. Chen Quanguo attended the ceremony. Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Hebei Provincial Committee and Executive Vice Governor Mr. Fu Zhifang presided over the ceremony. Mr. Huang Tianwen, Chairman of Sinosteel Corporation Ltd. presented the ceremony upon invitation and witnessed this historic moment in the development of Bohai New District.
After the ceremony, Chairman Huang and his delegation visited Sinosteel Binhai Base, inspecting 80,000-ton ferronickel project and shift-roster dormitories under construction. Sinosteel Vice President Mr. Gong Jingsheng, Secretary of the Directorate and Director of Directorate’s Office Mr. Li Kejie accompanied the event.
