On the afternoon of April 18, signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement between Sinosteel Corporation and China National Machinery Industry Corporation was held in the head office of China National Machinery Industry Corporation. Leaders such as Mr. Jia Baojun, president of Sinosteel Corporation and chairman of Sinosteel Corporation Limited, Mr. Xu Siwei, party secretary of Sinosteel Corporation and general manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited, Mr. Ren Hongbin, chairman of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, and Mr. Xu Jian, general manager of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, attended the signing activity. The signing ceremony was chaired by Mr. Xie Biao, deputy general manager of China National Machinery Industry Corporation. Mr. Xu Siwei and Mr. Xu Jian signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on behalf of both parties. Mr. Liu Andong, member party committee of Sinosteel Corporation, deputy general manager and chief accountant of Sinosteel Corporation Limited, assistant general manager Mr. Zhang Zhiheng and Lu Pengcheng accompanied to attend the activity.
Signing of strategic cooperation agreement between Sinosteel Corporation and China National Machinery Industry Corporation marks that pragmatic cooperation between both parties has stepped to a new phase. According to contents of the agreement, both parties will further strengthen cooperation later and develop all-round cooperation in advantageous industries of both parties such as domestic and overseas project contracting, manufacturing of machineries and equipments, metallurgy and mining, and build long-term and stable, fully coordinating and jointly developing strategic cooperation relationship.
Prior to the signing ceremony, both parties conducted friendly talks. Both parties wished to future deepen communication mechanism, push both parties’ cooperation to advance a new step, jointly capture development opportunities and cope with market challenges, and realize win-win development through signing of this strategic agreement.
